A Wonderful Night in Sydney for the 2025 Gala Event

We are thrilled to share that NatureArt Lab was recognised as a Semifinalist at the prestigious Awards Australia Foundation Channel Seven Community Achievement Awards this year! The gala event, held in Sydney, brought together inspiring individuals and organisations dedicated to strengthening and uplifting communities across ACT and NSW — and we were honoured to stand alongside them.

Being announced as Semifinalists in two award categories — Connecting Communities and Small Business Achievement — is a meaningful recognition of the heart and purpose that drive our work. At NatureArt Lab, we are passionate about creating opportunities for people to connect with nature through art, build skills, nurture creativity, and support wellbeing. These nominations reflect the collective effort of our tutors, staff, members, volunteers, and everyone who participates in our programs.

The NatureArt Lab team travelled to Sydney for the gala night, where we joined fellow finalists for an evening of celebration, connection, and inspiration. The awards ceremony shone a spotlight on so many remarkable stories — from environmental champions to community leaders, educators, artists, and innovators.

It was a joy to celebrate together, reflect on how far we’ve come, and feel inspired by the incredible work happening across our region. The energy in the room was uplifting, and we felt proud to be part of a community of organisations working to enrich the lives of others.

Although we didn’t take home the top award, the experience itself was truly rewarding. Being selected as finalists is a testament to the contributions of our entire NatureArt Lab community — and we feel grateful for the recognition.
