Our Guest Speaker: Renee Prescott

Since childhood Renee was known for seeing the small things in nature that most people walk past or don’t see. This has developed into a passion for fungi, moss and insects which she has taken further with her macro photography skills and art. Over time this has became a dedication with Renee travelling to Tasmania at least once every year for her fungi explorations.

Renee joined NatureArt Lab as a tutor in 2021 and teaches Introduction to Drawing and Drawing Two. Renee was the inspiration behind the first Nature Art Lab tour to Tasmania covering the fungi season held in May 2022 and accompanied the group as the macro photographer specialist and fungi guide.
