Sale price Price $50.00 Regular price Unit price  per

Tax included.

Children and their carers can explore a range of sensory and process art stations that are inspired by nature.  NatureArt Play sessions will focus on encouraging children to engage with open-ended prompts in their own way, as well as sharing ways to initiate similar situations in a range of spaces.

About the facilitator:

Madeleine Tranter Creative is a multidisciplinary Canberra-based artist and tutor.  They have a passion for combining community engagement, environmental conservation and the arts in a fun and educational way.  Madeleine seeks to break down the barriers people have around 'being artistic' to empower everyone with the joy of creating art. Madeleine also teaches our NatureArt Kids school holiday and youth art-science programs, and has a current WWVP card.

About the workshop:

NatureArt Play will introduce children and carers to a range of collaborative and solo sensory and process art prompts.  From paint and clay - to slimes and bubbles - and everything in between we'll discover a range of natural themes and materials.  Madeleine will help carers guide their children to explore the stations without taking over the process.  It's a chance to get messy and be surprised by the way the children interact with the world.

Old/messy play clothes should be worn.  All ages welcome but NatureArt Play is perfect for 2 - 5 year olds. Accompanying kids under 2 years old are free.
