Workshop details:
Learn how to observe and engage with nature in a different way and join me for an introductory workshop. Understand the benefits of connecting with nature, the key elements of being a naturalist and learn more about the environment around you. Try nature journaling with the use of a visual art diary, creating sketches, notes and impressions of everything around you in nature. Our nature journaling workshop includes tips on basic drawing and observation skills, and practising key concepts in the gardens at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens with a relaxing morning of field sketching. Morning tea is included!
Create a personal record of your nature experiences around Brisbane, and wherever you are in the world.
Materials: A materials list will be sent to all participants prior to the workshop. Please bring suitable walking shoes, outdoor clothing and drinking water for our field trip.
