The weather is getting warmer and the grevilleas are flowering. Spend a day learning how to paint them, step by step. This relaxed and friendly workshop is suitable for beginners right through to more experienced artists looking for a social and creative experience. By the end of the session you will feel confident in your ability to paint these beautiful flowers and be ready to complete a finished watercolour. Morning tea will be supplied, along with good company and fresh flowers. There’s no better way to spend a Friday.

Pre-requisites: This course is suitable for 16+ beginners with little to no drawing experience, or for those wishing to build on the foundations of their drawing using the taught techniques.

About the tutor:

Dr. Fiona Boxall is a Canberra based artist, journaler and writer. She is passionate about the natural world and her work and journaling allows her to focus on this. She teaches our Introduction to Drawing One evening classes and loves nothing more than helping her students develop their own drawing style and compositions. She works in a variety of media and is constantly expanding and developing her approach.
