🌸 NatureArt Lab at Floriade

Floriade is Canberra’s annual celebration of spring, bringing together spectacular floral displays, cultural activities and opportunities to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature.

This year, NatureArt Lab is contributing a series of hands-on art and science workshops inspired by Floriade’s colourful displays. Suitable for all experience levels, each two-hour session offers time to observe closely, learn something new and create with guidance from our professional tutors.

Floral Fantasy with Xiaochen (Fiona) Bao

• When: 10-12pm, Monday 21st of September

Nature Journalling with Ami Amlani

• When: 10am-12pm, Thursday 1st of October

Led by members of the NatureArt Lab tutor team, including Xiaochen (Fiona) Bao, Ami Amlani and Karen Holloway, these workshops invite you to explore flowers and plants through art, science and close observation.

Each workshop runs for two hours, with materials and tuition included.
