Nature Art Lab

NatureArt Lab offers participants the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and immerse themselves in art inspired by nature. Select a series of courses to suit your interests, and consider developing your foundation skills through a better understanding of colour theory, drawing skills or use of water-based mediums such as watercolour or gouache. Our team of experienced tutors will support your creative learning journey with expert instruction and guidance in a fully equipped art-science space.

Insects in Watercolour - Summer Youth Art (ages 9-17) - Wednesday January 22nd 2020




Join NatureArt Lab for our exciting January School Holiday art event, exploring insects in watercolour.

Experience hands-on examination of our fabulous insect collection, learn about insect anatomy, then advance your sketching and watercolour skills and create a beautiful illustration of an insect of your choice!

Award-winning artist and our Kids Program Manager Josie Cosgrove will be instructing the class.

Suitable for students aged from 9-17 years who are keen to develop their scientific observation skills and drawing capabilities. All materials and tuition included. Please bring a packed lunch.
