EVENING COURSE: MAKE YOUR OWN NATURE JOURNAL, 12 October - 16 November 2020 - Beginners and Intermediate
Create your very own Nature Journal in our exciting Book Craft course! Over 6 weeks you will create a Nature Journal using decorative stab binding and learn about the eco-dyeing process.
About the tutor:
Josie Cosgrove is a Canberra born and bred photographic artist who is passionate about art, science and nature. Josie completed her Bachelor of Photography in 2012 and went on to study a Bachelor of Science before creating her latest solo photographic exhibition ‘Cultured’; an exploration of the patterns and colours of the microscopic world.
Josie loves everything crafty and has expertise in Bookbinding, Printing, Design and Illustration and is also the manager of our kids programs!

Rediscover the lost art of bookbinding with NatureArt Lab!
Nature Journaling is proven to be beneficial in improving mental health, and is a great way to learn more about nature and care for ourselves and our local environment. At NatureArt Lab we advocate having a nature journal, and creating your very own makes it even more fun!
This term we will be learning Decorative Stab Bindings and use eco-dyeing, embroidery and textile collage to create covers for our nature journals.
All tools and materials are provided, refreshments are included.
Dates: 12 October - 16 November 2020 (6 weeks x 3 hour sessions).
please note there will be no classes on the 1st and 8th of June due to public holidays
