Nature Art Lab
NatureArt Lab offers participants the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and immerse themselves in art inspired by nature. Select a series of courses to suit your interests, and consider developing your foundation skills through a better understanding of colour theory, drawing skills or use of water-based mediums such as watercolour or gouache. Our team of experienced tutors will support your creative learning journey with expert instruction and guidance in a fully equipped art-science space.
NatureArt Kids Club
Join our new monthly NatureArt Kids Club art and science adventures for an exciting exploration of nature in the gardens. Discover, look and learn through drawing and observation, nature journaling, painting and hands-on activities. Our sessions will include themes such as: getting to know the birds, insects, marsupials and reptiles as well as the unique Australian plant communities featured in the gardens.
Our programs are specially designed for children aged from 5-12 years. Two groups will be offered: one for children aged from 5-8 years, and a second group for children aged from 9-12 years.
Our tutors are professional science communicators and artists with a passion for fun-filled educational activities.
The cost is $48.00 per session and children can be signed in and picked up at the end of each session.
