Nature Art Lab
NatureArt Lab offers participants the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and immerse themselves in art inspired by nature. Select a series of courses to suit your interests, and consider developing your foundation skills through a better understanding of colour theory, drawing skills or use of water-based mediums such as watercolour or gouache. Our team of experienced tutors will support your creative learning journey with expert instruction and guidance in a fully equipped art-science space.

NatureArt Lab is proud to launch NaturExplorers! Our new Nature Journaling club for families.
Grab your nature journal and spend quality time with the family exploring Canberra's natural environments. Every month we will be enhancing our observational skills, learning different drawing techniques and connecting with beautiful locations around the nations capital.
Nature journaling is incredibly beneficial for our health and mental well-being and is a great way to build a relationship with our local flora and fauna. Become a NaturExplorer and join us every first Sunday of the month with fun nature journaling activities for the whole family.

NaturExplorers is suitable for the whole family! Adult attendance is free and required for children aged under 15, under 5's attend free with a paying older sibling.
Please bring your own Nature Journal and something to sketch with (i.e pencils, pens and a travel watercolour set if desired).
