ONLINE Art Workshop: Portraying Fungi in Watercolour - 5 June 22 (Beginners to Advanced)
Reveal and portray the fantastic world of fungi, and see what is hidden from the eyes of many!
About the workshop:
In this ONLINE workshop Anna will explain the diversity, origin, ecology and morphology of different fungi. She will then give a few examples of different textures and explain how to paint them in watercolour. Students will learn how to produce an initial drawing of an object, how to scale it, what to include in composition, and then learn how to transfer it on paper and produce a beautiful realistic portrait of a fungus.
After the tutorial all students will be asked to produce a finished watercolour painting of any fungus using the techniques they learned during the tutorial. They will have 3 weeks to finish their homework and send it to the tutor for feedback;.
