We all know that life is busy and the Canberra winter is cold. But there is always time for morning tea and a little bit of creative fun. This three-hour workshop will show you how to go about painting a relaxed and appealing watercolour of paper daisies. And we will also provide a tasty morning tea to help keep your energy levels going. A friendly and social gathering, the tutor will help guide you through the basic watercolour techniques you will need to continue painting loose watercolour florals at home. This will be a short and sweet workshop, suitable for beginners, lovers of a nice cup of tea and anyone just wanting to spend a few hours being creative, learning new skills and having fun.

Pre-requisites: This course is suitable for 16+ beginners with little to no drawing experience, or for those wishing to build on the foundations of their drawing using the taught techniques.

About the tutor:

Dr. Fiona Boxall is a Canberra based artist, journaler and writer. She is passionate about the natural world and her work and journaling allows her to focus on this. She teaches our Introduction to Drawing One evening classes and loves nothing more than helping her students develop their own drawing style and compositions. She works in a variety of media and is constantly expanding and developing her approach.
