Dates: 15 - 29 November 2024

Location: NatureArt Lab, M16 Artspace, 21 Blaxland Crescent, Griffith, ACT

Course Description:

This class is about exploring different art materials and I encourage you to bring any art materials you have at home. If you don’t have water colour paints, you could choose to purchase one light colour and one dark colour to try out during this course (I am happy to discuss colour options with you if you are new to watercolour). If you don’t have paint pens, you could choose to get a white and black paint pen or a few colours to experiment with in this course. There are no prescribed colours for this course and I encourage you to think about the colours you love and use them.

I use paint pens and fine liners in all my mixed media work. Paint pens are opaque and can draw over water colour and collage, and fine liners give you a more delicate line. It’s completely up to you if you use one or both types of these pens.
