Creative Communities - by Cristy Froehlich
Drawing has a profound impact on people’s well-being and creativity, allowing them to express themselves, develop skills, and gain confidence.
At the recent "Graphite Feathers" and 'Zentangles' Creative Drawing class offered by NatureArt Lab, our tutor Cristy joined a fabulous group of YWCA women. Participants experienced these benefits first-hand. Many came in doubting their ability to draw but left with newfound skills in graphite techniques, an understanding of light and shade, and their own beautiful feather drawings.
This experience shows that drawing isn’t just about creating art—it’s about growth, relaxation, and realizing potential. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, drawing encourages you to slow down, focus on details, and feel a sense of accomplishment.
